Acacia Technologies PLC ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through acaciatech.et, why we collect it and what your rights are.

What we collect

When you fill in our contact form: your name, organization, type of organization, number of employees and sites, phone number, email address (optional), the type of request and your message.

When you contact us by email: the information you choose to send us.

When you visit the website: our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the website and protect it from attacks. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising, and we do not use analytics tools.

Why we use it

We use your data only to:

• reply to your request;
• arrange a call, a meeting or a demonstration;
• send you a quote you asked for.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of trusted service providers:

• Web3Forms, which delivers contact form messages to our email;
• Cloudflare, which hosts the website;
• Google Fonts, which provides the fonts used on the website;
• our email provider.

These providers may process data on servers outside Ethiopia.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as we need it to handle your request and any follow-up, and no longer than 24 months if no business relationship starts. If you become a customer, your data is kept according to our agreement with you.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• tell you what data we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop using it.

Write to ceo@acaciatech.et and we will reply as soon as possible. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Ethiopian Communications Authority, the data protection authority in Ethiopia.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website.

Our products

This policy covers our website only. Data processed through Acacia Attendance on behalf of our customers, such as employee attendance records, is governed by a separate agreement with each customer.

We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page, with its date.
